The inspection was carried out on the 3rd May 2007 by Lesley Bott.

The report states that the quality of teaching and learning is good. There is a good balance of adult led and child initiated activities. Children are happy and settled well into the welcoming environment. Children were eager to greet their friends.

Staff are supportive and caring towards the children and sit on the floor to eye level with the children

There is a good system in place for planning and opportunities to adapt activities to ensure younger children are able to participate.

Children are well protected by staff having a clear understanding of child protection. All children are cared for in a safe and secure setting with staff taking positive steps to minimise risks.

The overall outcome: The quality and standard of care is good.
